Control Panel Disk Maintenance

What appears to be a continuation of last week's problem with the disks on the Control Panel host caused the host to be off line for about 7 hours. This effected the Kinetix Hosting control panel, and all reseller control panels.
No web sites or email services were effected by this event at all.
After a kernel upgrade, the server would not reboot, becuase one of the drives had failed. The drive was replaced, and again with an assist from Tech Valley, this time Dan L, we were able to bring the server back up, and subsequently the RAID arrays have been rebuilt with the new disk.
Tomorrow we will post the schedule here for an outage on the web host to proactively replace the only drive from this batch that has not failed yet.
