SpamCop blacklist enabled
Oct 27, 2003
Before Friday we had only blacklisted those spammers listed on the Open Relay Database (ORDB). At that time about 8.5% of the messages received by the mail servers were rejected.
On Friday we added the SpamCop black list to our mail server configurations. For the few days that this configuration has been in place the absolute number of messages rejected has increased significantly. (On the magnatude of more than 1000 messages per day rejected as probably SPAM.)
While we reject more SPAM with this new configuration, it is possible that we may also get some "false positives", if JSW4.NET customers experience any difficulty with these new anti-SPAM measures, please contact support. We will work with you to diagnose the problem and fix it for you if possible.
