Good guess! Here's what I get:

C:\mysql\bin>echo hallo > aus

C:\mysql\bin>echo hallo > aux
Zugriff verweigert

This is "access denied". Looks like "aux" is a device name, such as
"lpt" or "con". I know that "Aux" used to be a hardware interface in
hifi components, I didn't know it was a device name under Windows.
