I just bought 'the Apache Modules Book' and the chapter about the Apache Database Framework was a very interesting one. So I thought that if Apache has a good scaleable SQl backend why not use it.

Would it make any sense to write a DBD module that uses apr_dbd as a backend?

Better performance and less memory maybe ?
