Invalid argument: Parent: Failed to create the child process

Dear group

Once in a while I am getting the error "Invalid argument: Parent: Failed to create the child process" and my Apache quits. I have just three scripts running in PerlRun mode and I do not know what causes this error. Appreciate any help in this regard.

I am using Apache/2.0.59 (Win32) PHP/5.2.1 mod_perl/2.0.3 Perl/v5.8.8 configured in a Win2000 server.

Please let me know how to locate the problem.
