Subject: mod_perl 2 and Forms?
I'll admit that I'm a mod_perl
newbie. I've always just used plain ol' CGI scripts in the past.
Obviously I have relied's upon CGI's param() method to get form
parameters. Looking around the documentation, I can see how to do the
equivalent using mod_perl, but nothing with mod_perl 2. In fact, many a
google search has suggested that this is more or less broken in mod_perl 2 and
to use CGI.pm instead. However, before I did this, which I consider to
be a kludge, I figured it would be best to ask the community since I can find
nothing about it on the mod_perl documentation site.
So here's the basic question. What method(s) do I
use in standard mod_perl 2 modules to perform tasks similar to CGI.pm's
param() method?
