Am I mistaking the difference between Apache2 and Apache1? It seems to  me that Apache::Registry is built for Apache1 and mp1, but ModPerl::Registry is built for mp2. I used Apache::DB->init() on mp1, so I am not sure that it   is viable for mp2.
