Now and then I notice a "stuck" interchange process which even a kill -9 wont get rid of. These odd processes seem to inflate my system's load average. Can someone suggest a way to kill these short of a reboot? Or better yet, a way to diagnose why they're occurring in the first place? This is a new machine with a fresh install of Centos 5.1 and IC 5.4.2 from ps -ax: 12608 ? D 0:09 interchange 13443 ? D 0:21 interchange Any thoughts are welcome.
