I feel it runs very well indeed. I've been running production installs for more than three years using FreeBSD, and PostgreSQL or MySQL.

Not wanting to get into the whole this OS vs that OS sink hole, I liked the underlying premise behind FreeBSD and chose to bind my sorry fat arse to it. It has served me well and I have no complaints. In fact I like it rather a lot.
