[ic] template files

I am new to interchange and seem to having problem with few basic
things. Kindly help me.

There are files 'leftonly', 'leftright', 'noleft' both in

../mycatalog/include/layout and
../mycatalog/templates

what is the difference? which one should I edit when and why?


Which file should I edit to make changes to the CSS:
../mycatalog/variables/THEME_CSS
or
../public_html/mycatalog/images/theme_css.css


Kindly respond to any or both of these questions. Any idea or tip will
also be useful.
