First thing you'll want to do is figure out where the bottlenecks are  
on your pages. The benchmark tag can help you with this. I'm not sure  
it comes standard with Interchange but you should be able to find it  
by searching the mailing list. Once you've identified the slowest  
part of your pages you can optimize it.
