Just to provide another entry... I use Mandriva for all my boxes.  Once you are used to all the
little nicities it has, Red Hat/Fedora/Cent OS seem ... a little more crude, unfinished...

But as someone here said, it will be the most easy working with the flavor you are used to.  If
you're a red-hat man, BSD may seem a little odd, and vice versa.  Kubuntu seems to be in a world of
their own.
