Do you have any extra-slow pages or searches etc. that users might bored waiting for? I tend to do that myself; If a page hasn't loaded within 10 seconds, I'll press "stop" and either attempt a reload, or just go elsewhere.
I would believe that, except it happens to me all the time when I'm browsing my own site.
