The preferred method is to use Portage because your modules will be
automatically kept up to date along with the rest of the system.
The modules will also be reinstalled for you when Perl gets upgraded.
Well, they will as soon as you type this:

    perl-cleaner all

There's no harm in using CPAN, of course.

I'm not sure that I have a module list to hand.  I can certainly create
one.  I tend to commission new servers by installing everything found in
the "world" file on one of the other machines.
