Hi,This is somewhat outside of the scope of Interchange. I would like to give the user some feedback when they are uploading files as to how their upload is progressing. The primary application would be uploading spreadsheets used to update databases such as the userdb or image uploads. I would really like to do this without reloading the entire page. I think I need Apache/IC to start putting the file down on the disk as it is being uploaded so that another process may check the file's size as it goes and give feedback to the user (i.e. a progress bar).
Anybody do anything like this before and could give me some general pointers? I've seen a lot online about doing this using PHP, Perl and one of the JS libraries such as prototype.js. All that I have seen are a bit too complicated for me. They involve at least a half dozen files.
