[ic] affiliate controls

I've read documentation about affiliate control panels in  
Interchange, but I can't seem to find them.  I can only imagine this  
is because I'm using the "standard" template.  How can I enable this  
or maybe a better question is what is the best way to go about  
creating an affiliate system with Interchange?  (Note: I'm using 5.5  
from CVS)
