You can run something like the following to clean out the tmp directory: cd /path/to/website/home find tmp -type f -mtime +7 -print|xargs rm -f That would remove any file that hasn't been modified in the last seven days. I tend to configure for three days, rather than seven, in my housekeeping scripts. Set to a value you feel comfortable with.
Thanks Kevin

How annoying - Yahoo didn't used to do this. Now, it seems that if you use Yahoo's smtp server to send mail it tacks this footer on the end of your mail. They didn't used to do this - AFAIK, Yahoo only used to add these footers if you used their web interface to send mail. Could the Interchange mailing list program be set up to strip these Yahoo footers?Anyway, I have just tried instead to use my ISP's smtp server so the footers wouldn't appear again, but it seems that their smtp servers are in the spews database as my mail just got bounced :-(
So, I am sorry I am having to send via Yahoo's smtp server again. Send instant messages to your online friends http://uk.messenger.yahoo.com _______________________________________________
