RE: [ic] Postal address validation

You could probably connect to USPS.com for address validation. If the
purpose is to validate addresses for shipping, I would recommend doing
the check on the backend possibly at the point of creating shipping
label. This way your customers won't experience any difficulty at
checkout if USPS.com malfunctions.
I believe if you check their site or do a search you will find the tools
to set this up.

Subject: [ic] Postal address validation

Greetings!

I have a client who would like to enforce USPS shipping address
validation on their site. Has anyone done any sort of live address
validation with IC to confirm a valid shipping address? Does this
require a subscription service, or is there a database that is publicly
accessible for this sort of thing?

Thanks,

Peter
