[ic] passing item fields to cart?

I need 2 hidden fields 1 for weight and the other for origin,

I tried this but dont work what am i doing wrong?
it works in flypage.html but not in basket.html, etc

<input type="hidden" name="weight" value="[item-field weight]"
<input type="hidden" name="origin" value="[item-field origin]"
