Ok, firstly please RTM. In your catalog.cfg (or a file included from 
this), order routes are defined.

So when you place an order interchange goes through the defined routes 
(log, main etc). You need to find the script that the route 'log' uses 
(which will be defined in catalog.cfg), and then work out why it is failing.

I am speculating that the error might be in a [try] statement. If you 
set errors_ok 1 in your log route it will allow the error, but best to 
work out what it is first.

With no other information this is the only help I can give.
