Thank you for the suggestion.  I have done this for the perl referenced
in the interchange script.  Unfortunately, it is still putting the same
error message in the error.log:

> In line 6 of the configuration file 'catalog.cfg':
> Require module Digest::MD5    "Need %s %s for better cache keys."

Any new thoughts?
