Interchange version 5.2.0 FreeBSD MySQL Perl 5.8.7 I'm trying to use the top menu (dhtml) that is used in demo IC 5.3 version catalog in my IC 5.2 catalog. I've added the appropriate templates and menu files and it seems as though I got it working: http://marbex-com.ssl1.biz/marbex.cgi/splash.html. Well at least the javascript functions are working. I have several problems: 1. In the UI through the Menu editor, when I try to Publish the catalog/top.txt it zeros the file out removing all the table's content except for the fields. I'll replace (via table upload) the corrected tree table and its products/tree.txt file and everything works again... until I try to Publish that particular (catalog/top.txt) menu. All the other menus: no problem publishing. The 5.2 and 5.3 tree.mysql files are identical and when I upload the tree.txt table via the UI there are NO errors. Any thing I might be missing? BTW, No errors on IC error.log either. 2. Can I link the javascript coding that loads on the top of the page (source code) like: <script language="JavaScript" src="./scripts/dropdownmenu.js" type="text/javascript"></script> without breaking the mouseover effect? I think I'll take a hit with search engines with all that code towards the top of my pages. 3. What other files, i.e. css files are needed to complete the drop-down effect on IC 5.3 as intended? I didn't notice any variables other than what was in the catalog.cfg. Thanks for any help!
