[ic] Where to start with Interchange Mall??

Hi

Can anyone offer some start-off advice with setting up an Interchange Mall?

The aim is to have two front-ends (or two skins) sitting on top of the same
database, ecommerce engine, etc.. I assume that this could be acheived using
just the one catalog, but I'm sure that's where the whole concept of the
"mall" comes in.

So, to be brief, my question(s) is ... what could the an Interchange Mall do
for me? and how do I go about setting one up?
