[ic] xmldoc and pod

While browsing the mailing list archives, and checking older cvs 
branches, I noticed that some time back the ic code description and 
usage was pod'ed inline.

I am using eclipse with the epic plugin, and having the pod's would be 
great to have the doc and the code together - the xmldocs aren't really 
elegant to work with, to say the least.

Is there a mechanism to generate pod from xmldocs ?
