[ic] change default table products

Hi All

I am very new to interchange , question i want to ask may be very basic .
but it is very important for me to know

Can we change the default table as Products.If yes, let me know how to do
this.
I have tried to change the same in catalog.cfg, but it doesnt helps.

I have looked through the   mailing list archives and not able to find the
solution. May be I am not searching the right words.

Please help.
