[ic] filter number of words / sentences

Hy list,

Thing is I would like to use short description and long description
without need to have 2 fields.

I would like to know is there a filter that could cut ie. first 50
words, or even better ie. first 5 sentences out of text.

something like [filter 50], just for words or sentences. I cant cut out
the first line because it's often too long. 

If someone has a code (or funcionality is already in IC?) please speak
out.
