The timeout variable shown in your message is from a post I made about Cybersource's ICS gateway. I just looked at interchange's ICS module and the parameter is passed to ics_send, which is a function inside the ICS library that came from Cybersource. I looked at the BoA module and it doesn't have a timeout setting. To send, it calls IC's Payment.pm's post_data function, which in turn calls Net::SSLeay's post_https function or LWP::UserAgent's POST function if Net::SSLeay wasn't found. I don't know if those functions have a way to set a timeout but I suspect that they would.
