[ic] Vertical Category list

I am using the collapse vertical category list on my website. I am wondering
if there is a way that to show the subcategories by clicking on the plus
sign and the name next to it. As an example, if you have something like this
: 

+ Monitors

When you click on the plus it will show the subcategories of the monitors,
is there a way the you can click on both the + and the Monitors to show the
subcategories...
