What I'd like to do is have IC do a pre-auth at order time with Authorize.net and then charge the CC when the status is changed from "pending" to "shipped" assuming the pre-auth was successful. How do I do that?

In CATROOT/products/variable.txt, change SETTLE_TRANSACTION to 1, reconfigure, test.

"If you ship hard goods and only do an authorization at order time, you may choose to settle the transaction automatically via the Order manager. This needs to be set to Yes to enable this."

Hi Josh,

thank you for that information. it is very much appreciated. so then, what happens of SETTLE_TRANSACTION is set to "0"? Does Interchange charge the credit card at order time?
