[ic] admin interface doesn't update database

I'm using Interchange 5.2.0 with PostgreSQL. When I modify product data with 
the admin interface interchange usually fails to update the database.

Running interchange --DEBUG=1 produced no useful information AND the database 
was updated.

Anyone have a solution?
