[ic] saving failed orders

I have searched the archives but haven't found
anything relevant.

I would like to save all failed orders (CC declined,
etc) with a status of 'canceled'. 

It seems as if IC assigns an order ID to a failed
order but doesn't retain the user's submitted
information in the DB.

Any advice would be appreciated - I'm sure someone out
there is capturing failed orders.
