[ic] Default in Item Editor (4.9)

Hello,

I tried to figure how to set a default value for a field in the item editor if
you select "Create new item". I know that the table editor is capable of
doing that, but I cannot get to work with changing entries in metadata.
It is catalog originated from 4.8 foundation. I merged the metadata.

Any help is appreciated.
