[ic] removing line breaks from a csv file

I have a csv file that contains my product information and I want to 
import this data into my IC 4.9 catalog's product table. All the columns 
are set up properly.

The description fields for some of the items contain line breaks which 
show up as squares when I open the file in Excel. I believe these 
characters are causing problems when I try to import. How can I remove 
these annoying squares?
