Can you download an XLS file successfully?  I've ran into a bug where IC 
only pays attention to the second 'sheet' in the XLS file, and ignores the 
first.  Try adding a table that you don't use as the first sheet (with 
columns, etc.) and see if you still get the error.  If that fixes it for 
you, I'll see if I can whip up a fix to spare the rest of us.
