Dear All Interchange Users I have several projects running in redhat 7.0 and would like to know if is safe to install interchange (last release) in a redhat 8.0 server. Thank You in advance, Paulo Moniz Inteliware.net Rua Antero de Quental, nº 5 B, Escritório 28A 2795-055 Linda-a-Velha Portugal Tel. : +351.21.4147943 Fax : +351.21.4144130 suppressed www.inteliware.net
I upgraded from 7.1 to 8.0 with no problems. Of course in 8.0 by default you get Apache 2.0 so I did not install the apache rpm and instead built my own 1.3.27 using apachetoolbox.com
After the upgrade I did not even re-install IC.. just restored and all was well. I installed originally from the tarball.
