[ic] Any Suggestions on displaying mv_searchspec

Have been researching and trying for 6 hours now to get the tag
[value-extended name=mv_searchspec]
to actually display the string I submit for a search/scan.
This I am trying to do in the results page and am getting nothing.

When I try [value mv_searchspec] I get an array ref.

When I try to seti or scratch the mv_searchspec I again get nothing.

I have scanned all of the documents on the icdevgroup site & can find
little of assistance.

I am working in IC 4.8, on Red Hat with Mysql. I am getting no errors
other than the fact that I am getting the null value returned.
I have reference several docs that discuss having this null value issue
but no solutions.

Any Ideas are most appreciated.
