[ic] Is this a good idea??

I just did rm -rf * under ....../session/
and ..../tmp/
I do expireall -r everyday! and I dont think it is expireall -r 
actually del the session files and directory or does it do that?

I did this becuase my site was kinda slow. After rm -rf *, the 
site actually runs faster! I am just wondering is this a good 
idea to rm -rf * under the .../session/? Of cuz i did this when 
on one is accessing the site. I know all the sessions is gone 
and I dont care, should i? Does this affect IC in a bad way?
