I am running 4.8.6 and have set up several options for some products. The options are matrix, one widget. The problem is that I need to have a long description for the person to see, but if I put: Deluxe black lace trimmed with white feathers and funky blueberry buttons. In the description field then it shows up in the pull-down menu as this huge line that messes up the page. However, if I just say 'deluxe version' then it is not descriptive enough. I can, of course, add Deluxe version is a black lace ... To the comment field in the products database, but this obviously isn't very good design and I'd prefer a more seamless method if possible. There are all sorts of fields in the options database and I've tried adding descriptions in o_header or o_footer for example but that doesn't seem to work. So, to make a long story short if someone knows how to have a short description and then a long follow up description for options then please let me know. If there is no easy way to do it in admin could someone point me to where I could program this myself?
