[ic] when does an IC process close the socket?

    I am studying mod_interchange to better understand its performance
benefits versus *link and modperl.  I would like to know at what point IC
closes the socket that it uses to communicate with vlink/tlink/modIC.  Does
IC close it immediately after sending all of its response data?
