The only real reason to use TAL is because it's language agnostic. It's got implementations in Python, Java and PHP. So if you're working on a multi language project then it's a good fit. Otherwise it's slow (slower than both TT and H::T) and I find it incredibly verbose and clumsy. I converted a few TAL templates into TT equivalents once and the reduction in size was almost 50%. -- Michael Peters Developer Plus Three, LP ##### CGI::Application community mailing list ################ ## ## ## To unsubscribe, or change your message delivery options, ## ## visit: http://www.erlbaum.net/mailman/listinfo/cgiapp ## ## ## ## Web archive: http://www.erlbaum.net/pipermail/cgiapp/ ## ## Wiki: http://cgiapp.erlbaum.net/ ## ## ## ################################################################
