[cgiapp] CAF hack-a-thon this Saturday

Hi everyone...

As many of you would know Michael Graham and I have been putting some
effort into the CGI::Application::Framework project.  (

Matthew Rice, Michael and I have decided to instigate a CAF hack-a-thon
in Toronto this Saturday.  (I know it's short notice, but it's already
starting to fill up just from posts to the TPM and CAF lists!)

If there are any people nearby who would be interested, please
email me.

When:   Saturday 29 October 2005, 10:30am - 5pm
Where:  Matthew's office, roughly 401 & 400.  Email me for details if
        you are going to come.  (That's in Toronto, for you
        out-of-towners.)

What:   Installing CAF, learning about it, and improving it

Pre-familiarity with CAF would be excellent, but general
CGI::Application knowledge is sufficient in order to help out
and to get something out of the event.  (Or even general Perl & CGI
knowledge, but again tell me if that's all you've got.)

Bring your laptop!  We'll try to set up a wireless network, but
bringing some good long lengths of CAT-5 wouldn't be a bad idea too
if you've got 'em.
