This is a worthwhile question. I'm in favor of keeping just one list. A
Perl module is a special kind of software project because the users of
Perl modules are typically people who can write their own Perl modules.
So many users can understand development discussion, and should even
understand how to send a basic patch to the code, tests or docs.
Plus, I think the development works best when there is a lot of input
and feedback from users.
As far as finding information in the archives...one of the goals with
the wiki is to take the best nuggets of wisdom from list discussions and
distill them there for easy reference.
The current wiki already has some content of that variety.
