I like that.  My projects are usually specifically tied to one platform 
or the other, so I haven't had to face some of the issues you address 
here.  I think you have some well-thought out policies there, and I 
wouldn't mind giving them a shot in a future project.

Great discussion of graphing databases too.  I'll be taking a good, long 
look at that.
