Hmm. One man's feature is another man's bug. ;)
I actually find the stuff-anything-in-it approach pretty convenient,
but would also like to have, by default, a separate, automatically
updated timestamp field, and the ability to add other specific fields
for specific session params.
The timestamp field bit seems pretty straight-forward, and I assume
most users want this for the sake of deleting old sessions.
Maybe it's possible to have the data stuffed into a catchall field by
default, with the alternative of specifying which fields particular
params get put in at the config/setup stage?
