Performance is a concern I share, and I don't know how well Class::DBI
will do there. However, assuming I don't expose anything that would
very Class::DBI specific, the backend could be updated later, and much
of the value returned.

I've looked at the documentation some, but haven't tried it. If I
understand my lineage right, CGI::Session is based on it. They both
share the behavior I don't like putting the whole session into a single
field.
