IIRC you can't reset runmode() unless you are in in the cgiapp_prerun 
stage. In that case you use prerun_mode(). I have never quite understood 
this *feature* of C::A. Why shouldn't you be able to change the value of 
the run mode anywhere. Obviously this could be a very bad thing if you 
are doing it wrong, but so can just about any other method available.
