Okay, what you're looking for then is error_mode(). From the docs:
"The error_mode contains the name of a run mode to call in the event that
the planned run mode call fails eval. No error_mode is defined by
default. The death of your error_mode() run mode is not trapped, so you
can also use it to die in your own special way."
Of course, if you have typos in your error mode method, they won't be
caught.
