I get what you're saying, but if its really that simple then Michael can
write his own cookie() method.

I'm imagining that one day someone might want to create a CGI.pm
work-alike for WAP or something which has a different format for
cookies.  This would keep it simple.

Sounds like we need Michael's cookie() method anyway, right?
