Hi Bill

CGI:App + H::T are not overkill, even for static pages.

Here's a web site I created which contains a single HTML page:

http://microhaus.com.au/

The javascript file index.js (line 12 of the HTML) is generated from a small database with 1 table in it.

You're only limited by your imagination :-).
Well, actually, I'm also limited by my present talent and experience, both of which seem to fall short of yours. I see the Javascript <--> database part; thats pretty cool. Could you clue me in as to how you've used CGI::App / H::T for this site? I'm not seeing that part and how you would gain from it.

Thanks,

Bill
