Hello,
I've begun using CGI::App with mod_perl. For the most part, it works
extremely easily. Most of the time our code runs without modification
under CGI and mod_perl, and using Apache::Reload the server rarely needs
to be restarted.
However, I've found that in some casees where functions are exported
from one package to another, a server restart can still be required.
I'm suspecting now that removing a 'package' declaration line from
instance scripts will fix this. (I have often put the instance script
in the samem package as the CGI::App it runs).
Are there any other tips to minimize mod_perl reloading, specific to
CGI::App? In general, it seems like CGI::App is already designed to
minimize this by putting nearly all code in modules.
